Orange County has long been considered one of the secret jewels of the American music scene and has a long history of successful community events from street fairs to all types of sporting events including marathons and fun walks/runs. While often overlooked by its LA neighbor to the North and the upstart scene of San Diego to its South, Orange County has been the home and launch pad for some of the most successful bands in recent rock history. No Doubt (and Gwen Stefani), The Offspring, Korn, Social Distortion, Lit, Avenged Sevenfold, and many others all started in the terra-cotta tiled houses and stucco garages of Orange County.

On a mild weekend in May of 2009, as Spring gets ready to give way to Summer, and a soft and alluring coastal breeze sweeps over the area, Orange County will become the center of the music universe as thousands of runners flock to the OCMUSICFEST for an experience that is first rate with fun, food, exercise, and some of the finest music ever assembled at one pre-summer event.
